There are 3 methods for coloring fertilizers: coloring the inner layer of fertilizers, coloring the surface of fertilizer particles, and coloring crystalline fertilizers.

1. Coloring the inner layer of fertilizers:

“Coloring the inner layer of fertilizers” is also named “Mass coloring(overall coloring)”. This method is relatively simple, and it is also a commonly used coloring method in the production of various fertilizers.through the steam or solvent of spray water dye and diffusion,the color is more uniform Granulated with fertilizer, dried, cooled and sieved to obtain finished products.

2. Coloring the surface of fertilizer particles:

Color the surface of the finished fertilizer, dissolve or disperse the colorant in the solvent and oil, or dissolve the colorant in the anti-caking agent, and then spray on the surface of the fertilizer particles in the powder bucket.

Another method is to add the colorant to the powder agent, then they are sent into the powder bucket with a metering screw after fully mixed. The colorant and powder agent are sprayed on the surface of the rolling fertilizer particles.

The “Coloring the surface of fertilizer particles” has poor fastness, uneven coloring, and a large amount of colorant, especially the fineness of the powder is required to be about 300 mesh, and the cost is high.

3. Coloring crystalline fertilizers:

The colorant can be added during the synthesis of raw materials. The colorant has high requirements. The product must be a transparent color after dissolving. The colorant can also be added when the ingredients are mixed.
